Hamas Fooled Reuters, BBC & CNN With Fake Video
As the dust settles on the recent 8-day conflict between Israel and Hamas, the extent of the Hamas-public-relations-war (using new technologies like Twitter) is being assessed. The militant group even managed to fool media giants like Reuters, the BBC and CNN with some of its fake video.
Meanwhile, the supply tunnels used by Hamas to funnel arms and other goods into the West Bank from outside are being restored. The weapons (which many officials suspect come from Iran) often start a long route which involves going by ship into the Sudan, across the Egyptian border, and up through the Sinai Peninsula to Gaza.
